The Medicaton

Prozac is a widely prescribed antidepressant medication. Since its introduction in 1986 Prozac has been said to have helped over 54 million patients worldwide, including those with depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, Bulimia nervosa and panic disorder.

Benefits

While PROZAC cannot be said to "cure" depression, it can help to control the symptoms of depression, allowing many people with depression to feel better and return to normal functioning.

Adverse Reaction

As with most medications Prozac has been seen to cause adverse reactions in some people who have taken it. Some have been reported to be very severe.
